Louis J. Lupin

Louis Lupin joined the New Orleans office of Sullivan Stolier Schulze, LLC in 2015 and has been on the firm’s Management Committee since 2023. As a Health Law Specialist certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization, Louis represents the full range of health care providers on a broad range of health care operational, transactional and regulatory compliance issues, including, reimbursement under the federal Medicare and federal/state Medicaid programs, private insurance plans, fraud and abuse (Stark, Anti-Kickback, and False Claims Statutes) and other regulatory compliance matters, federal and state administrative and judicial advocacy, medical staff bylaws and credentialing issues, governing board bylaws, entity formation and related health care matters. Louis has extensive experience negotiating, drafting and revising physician agreements, management arrangements, and provider acquisition/sale documents.

Prior to joining Sullivan Stolier Schulze, Mr. Lupin founded the healthcare regulatory practice at a suburban New Orleans law firm. Before that, Mr. Lupin worked for 10 years at a large downtown New Orleans firm.
